Our Team

Fred Gromalak

Fred Gromalak – BVMS(DVM)

Dr. Fred previously worked with our large animal clinic (Stateline Veterinary Services) since 2017 and at Clinton Veterinary Clinic in 2020. Currently he also runs the mobile Ultrasound division of SVS Imaging, along with working at Kettle View Veterinary Clinic. He is originally from North Prairie, WI and went to Kettle Moraine High School. 

He received his BVMS from the University of Edinburgh in Scotland. His interests include internal medicine, client communication, ultrasound and cardiology.
He shares his home with his wife Jamie and their Kids (Bo and Oaklee) and enjoys playing golf, going to concerts and relaxing on the lake in his spare time.

Bev Ruch

Bev Ruch – Veterinary Assistant

Bev has worked in the veterinary profession for over 30 years. Started working the basics- the kennels then all the way to Office Manager. She shares her home now with her two sons (when they are home) Tyler and Sam. Plus, her dogs Moses-Doberman, Abel- Golden Retriever and a fluffy cat named Fozzie. In her spare time, she trains her dogs – (or they train her) in agility and dock diving!

Maggie Bettin – Veterinary Assistant

Mags has worked in the veterinary profession for 20+ years. She graduated from Marian College with a Veterinary Assistant degree and has not looked back. She especially loves to do dental procedures. She and her husband Jason have two sons (Landon and Keegan) and two dogs Levi-Golden Retriever and Gizmo-Shih Tzu. In her spare time, she loves vacationing in Door County.

Katelyn Thompson – Veterinary Assistant

Katie also works at the Animal Clinic of Elkhorn. She has been working in the veterinary field for 5 years. She has 2 mini dachshunds – Charlie and Flash. Along with that she fosters through the Midwest Dachshund Rescue. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, spending time with friends and of course playing with her dogs.

Complete Health Exams – A yearly physical exam is the best way to catch problems before they start and keep your pet healthy as long as possible.


Heartworm & Intestinal Parasite Testing Immunizations – Customized to your pet’s specific needs and risks they are exposed to.


Soft Tissue Surgery – Spay, neuter, declaw, mass removals, cystotomy, C-section, as well as emergency procedures.


Allergy Testing – We can send out a blood sample to evaluate your pet’s food and environmental allergies to give specific diet recommendations and formulate allergy injections.
